Balkan Lynx (Lynx lynx balcanicus)

The Balkan lynx (Lynx lynx balcanicus) is a subspecies of the beautiful and misterious Eurasian lynx. There are just a few individuals living in the Western part of the Balkan peninsula. However, scientists and activists are trying their best to study, preserve and protect the species. Sharr mountain is said to be home of the Balkan lynx.

Elodie from Frnace, one of the Mountain spirit volunteers in Listen to the Pines of Sharr group EVS got inspired and prepared a little fact sheet about the Balkan Lynx. Below you can get familiar with this amazing animal.
