Welcome to the space for the volunteers within the Mountain spirit cooperation idea… The blog is dedicated to the Spirit of the Balkan Mountains, discovered by volunteers from all around Europe. It is a place where you can learn more about Velebit (Croatia), Sharr (Kosovo), Frushka gora (Serbia), Pirin (Bulgaria) mountains, about what connects them, what is similar, what is different. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to meet the people from the mountain, the way international volunteers see them in their everyday life as part of the Erasmus+ volunteering programs and not only.

The content of this website is created mostly by the volunteers with the support of the local organizations who are hosting them (Velebit Association Kuterevo, GAIA, Bird Protection and Study Society of Serbia, Vlahi Nature School). We took our time to research, we are trying to cite the sources of information we used, to question and double check facts.
